Weekly Poker Update June 13, 2009

Not much going on in the village, except still trying to figure out how to raise money for the matching funds for the grant we got for our wind generator. I had a good week in Poker, staying focused but at the lower tables. I won $94.90 this week for an hourly rate of $6.94 an hour. Though this is below my goal I am happy with the numbers since I am at the lower tables.

Below are two hand the first one I should have folded and the second, one I wonder what the odds are of each of us hitting the 3 best hands, I am glad I had the best of the best. I just wish the other players had bigger stacks.

Going to the big apple this week, one of Margarite’s rich uncles has a big meeting at the United Nations. Since he is in South Africa this week he is picking us up on his way, so we get free airfare in a private jet not bad. I hope to see some good shows and get a few good meals. I love New York.
